Full-time regular employees are eligible to participate in:
- The Company Group Health, Dental, Vision Plan after sixty (60) days of continuous employment.
- The 401(k) savings plan after one year (12 months) of continuous employment.
- Company paid Life, after sixty (60) days of employment and enrollment in our medical plan.
- Paid holidays upon date of hire.
COMBINATION GROUP HEALTH/DENTAL/VISION PLAN
Employee premiums are based upon three levels of coverage. Those levels are “Employee and Family”, “Employee and Spouse” or “Employee Only”. Employee premiums are for a 12 month period (Calendar Year). You must enroll in the plan within the first 90 days of your employment.
This Plan is a pre-tax Section 125 cafeteria plan. This means that all insurance premiums are taken out of participating employee’s paychecks before federal income tax is withheld. The IRS regulates section 125 plans.
The Plan is a PPO plan with network and non-network coverage. Some of the features include a Physician Office Co-pay of $25 for in network, calendar year deductibles (maximum 2 per family), preventive care, outpatient lab, hospital services, emergency services, and a prescription drug plan.
Our combination medical, dental, vision plan is one of the most affordable in the industry.
The Company provides all full time regular employees with a $10,000 basic life insurance for employees who are enrolled in our medical, dental, and vision plan. This coverage is provided at no cost to employees and requires no medical information to enroll.
Immediately upon their hire date, all full-time employees will be eligible for the following paid holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN – 401(k)
Our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan allows employees to participate through payroll deduction. Full-time employees may enroll in the plan on January 1st or July 1st after completing one year of service. The Company will match dollar for dollar saved up to 3% of pay. In addition, the Company will contribute $0.50 for each dollar saved on the next 2% of pay.
PAID TIME OFF (PTO)
Hourly employees are eligible for paid time off (PTO) starting the first day of the month after you have completed a six-month eligibility period from your date of hire. After completing 6 months of continuous employment, you will receive 40 hours of PTO pay. At one year of service you will receive 80 hours of PTO pay. Our plan is simple and allows you to qualify for additional PTO pay at 3 years, and then the maximum level of PTO pay after 5 years of service. Our PTO plan is all about scheduling and planning your time off work. We make it simple to receive your PTO pay as you become eligible. If you have directly related beef packing experience, you may qualify for higher level of PTO pay.
